BBCC Rolls Past Timberwolves, Extend Win Streak to Seven

Fresh off a huge victory over Columbia Basin College, the Big Bend Vikings hit the road to take on the Blue Mountain Timberwolves — and wasted no time asserting their dominance.

Riding a six-game win streak, the Lady Vikings made their presence felt early. BBCC came out firing in the first half, building a commanding 42–28 lead by halftime behind efficient offense and relentless defensive pressure.

There was no letup after the break.

The Lady Vikings kept their foot on the gas, overwhelming the Timberwolves on both ends of the floor and cruising to a decisive 77–56 victory. Their defensive intensity proved to be the difference, as BBCC held Blue Mountain to just 32 percent shooting from the field while forcing key turnovers and collecting five steals.

Oaklie Jackman delivered another standout performance, recording a dominant double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Kaliyah Evans, Oakley Homer, and Claire Cox each added double-digit scoring efforts, showcasing the team's balanced attack and depth.

Now sitting atop the Eastern Region standings, the Lady Vikings look to carry their momentum into the final stretch of the regular season. BBCC will travel to Spokane on Wednesday to face the Spokane Falls Sasquatch, aiming to finish strong and continue their impressive run.
