Big Bend CC

The DeVries Activity Center (2000 Building) is the hub of Big Bend Community College Athletics, as well as student fitness, wellness, recreation, and physical education courses and activities. The facility offerings are centered around a new full-size competition wood floor for basketball and volleyball contests. In 2022, the fitness areas took on a brand new look, as there are now individual locations for free weights, functional fitness equipment, machine weights, and cardio machines. The facility also houses two large locker-room spaces for men and women, a spacious concession stand for home athletic contests, as well as a newly-renovated meeting room, complete with a 165-inch video screen, conference table, and plush seating for up to 40 guests. Additionally, the facility houses offices of head coaches for women's basketball, volleyball, men's basketball, men's wrestling, women's wrestling, as well as the office of the Director of Athletics. Use of the DeVries Activity Center is FREE for all currently-enrolled BBCC students.

Tuesday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Wednesday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Thursday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am to 2:00pm

Facility Policies & Procedures
Operating hours are subject to change without notice
The facility will close at noon on days featuring a BBCC home athletic contest in any sport
BBCC course instruction will take precedence in all facility locations (hours will be posted regularly, but are subject to change)
All users must possess and scan a BBCC ID in order to use the facility
Entry and exit to the facility should only occur at the main entrance on the east end of the facility
The main court is only to be used by members of BBCC basketball and volleyball teams, or with permission from the facility coordinator
Combination locks will be issued upon request, and should be claimed quarterly (no personal locks on lockers)
